Kings Park in Spring

What started out as a warm Spring day turned to dark, oppressive and wet by the time I reached Kings Park. The sky almost looked like a storm might break at any moment. I didn’t get nearly as many shots as I would have liked, between the frequent rain shows, dashing for cover and dodging people.
But it was still a good afternoon.

Spring Blooming

Time spent with family is always enjoyable; its even more poignant when the rest of your life is hard. Its a reminder that there are people who will be there for you, supporting you. My husband and I received a number of hard blows these last few weeks, and just that brief moment away from it all for a weekend helped provide the strength to face the challenges in front of us.

Paper Daisies

Posting up some of my older photos (not all, obviously) that mean something to me. Hopefully something new coming soon!

A number of years ago, my husband and I went on a driving tour through the Mid West (Western Australia) to see the wildflowers. It wasn’t as good as year as I’d seen previously, and I keep meaning to head back again, but its still a treat to see the red deserts covered carpets of pink, white and yellow flowers.
