Spring Blooming

Time spent with family is always enjoyable; its even more poignant when the rest of your life is hard. Its a reminder that there are people who will be there for you, supporting you. My husband and I received a number of hard blows these last few weeks, and just that brief moment away from it all for a weekend helped provide the strength to face the challenges in front of us.

A life lived in darkness

This is my grandfather. He has worked most of his life on the land, and still owns and runs his own sheep farm. The photo you can see was taken seven years ago, but I intend to share something a little more recent soon. A little more personal.
